Vaishali (Pune)

Hello everyone!
How are you all? Hope all are doing well. I guess I’m lacking a bit in updating my posts. But I know you all are there to read my posts. So this time I’m writing about one of the most famous restaurants of Pune which is located on FC Road.
Vaishali is one of the oldest and most well known restaurants in Pune. Known for its South Indian food and comes under legendary restaurant, great place for breakfast and must visit restaurants in Pune. I would recommend making prior reservations to avoid waiting. As this is the place where you will get rush no matter what time you drop in this place. Its ambiance is nicely done. Indoor sitting has some nice paintings and good table adjustments made while I prefer sitting outdoor which has an amazing ambience.
I love the way lighting and tables are arranged.Coming to food no matter what you try out here you will love it for sure. But still, according to me what you must try:
Veg Cutlet: Well, I love cutlet a lot and at Vaishali you get some really tasty cutlets. Perfect mixture of spices and veggies made into a patty and fried to perfection and then served with chips this is something what one will like for sure.
Upma:
One of the best things I like in my breakfast. Upma is served with chutney and is made with so much perfection that I can eat it all the time.
Cheese Onion Uttappam: The fluffiness of the uttappam with the crunchiness of onions and melting grated cheese gives a perfect blend to the taste served with sambhar and chutney.
Cheese Dosa: Those who like to have plain dosa with sambhar and chutney should try this dosa atleast once. The crispy dosa with grated cheese which melts in with butter gives an immense pleasure to the taste.
Mysore Special Masala Dosa: I must say this is one of the best dosas one should try. The perfect blend of masala and mysore masala spice gives the dosa amazing taste and makes it worth trying. Served with sambhar and chutney this something I suggest to must try.
SPDP (Sev Potato Dahi Puri): Who doesn’t love street food? Mostly we all prefer having street food on the road side stalls. But trust me when I say that you should try it for sure. The SPDP served here is really amazing and totally hygienic. One of the must tries in the list. Overall this is one of the best places to have yummy South Indian and street food. Service is quick and nice and prior reservation is recommended. I would recommend you to atleast try it once and I’m sure you will love it.

Horn Ok Please (Pune)

Hello, everyone!
How are you all? Firstly I’m really sorry for the delay as I’m busy with something major. So, here I’m with a new post about one of my favorite restaurant in Pune. The name of the place has a unique name and serves pure veg north Indian food.
Many who are from Pune and have been to FC Road might know about it. Its name is Horn OK Please.

Well, this place is total eye catchy with its unique ambience. In the entrance, there is a board which looks like the back of a truck and also there are big tyres which are kept there for seating. Inside you will find milestones, quotations which are found behind trucks and cute seating adjustments. The service is really quick and the staff is really helpful and interactive.
Coming up to food, well here you will get total Punjabi food and as they serve pure veg so you can’t expect nonveg here for sure. The taste is really amazing and totally finger licking good. I personally like the food here for all the reasons; the service, the quality, the taste, everything here is perfect.
The menu is cleverly set. Once you have the menu card in your hand, I bet you will have a smile on your face automatically as soon as you start going through the menu card.
What is the must try here?
Paneer Tikka: Every paneer lover, loves paneer tikka, well not necessary as this is my logic. But one thing you will agree that best paneer is that which melts in the mouth and here you will get a perfect paneer tikka with mouth melting paneer marinated in spices and perfectly barbequed and served with the chutney and salad with other veggies in it. One of the best paneer tikka I had in town.
Cheese Kebab: I personally love the kebabs here and the cheese kebab tops my list. Perfect for taste and spices the melting cheese tastes so good that you can’t stop eating it.
Veg Junglee: Mix of vegetables into a spicy red gravy and blend to perfection, served with whatever you want, this is one of the amazing dishes one should try in their meal.
Navratan Korma: Mix of various vegetables into a creamy soft white gravy, this is something worth trying. The best part of this dish is that it doesn’t need anything else expect naan or roti. The flavors all over give immense taste to this dish making it one of my favorites.
Sham Savera: You might be thinking what it is exactly. Well is named on the way the dish is presented. Sham Savera is exactly kofte with gravy served in a unique way. The kofte is shaped in the form of half egg and is assembled on the gravy in a way that it looks beautiful and yummy as it tastes.
Rajma Masala: Rajma is my weakness and when I eat it here, my face always has a smile from ear to ear. Perfectly cooked and mixed with the onion tomato gravy this is something of a worth having. I enjoy having it with jeera rice or veg pulao and this is what a perfectly cooked rajma masala is, perfect in spices, perfect in flavors and perfect in taste, this is a worth having dish here.
Cheese Chilly Garlic Naan: Those who love having Naan in their meal should try this definitely. A perfect mix of cheese, garlic and chillis stuffed in dough and cooked in tandoor and served hot these naans are worth trying and I actually suggest that one should definitely try it out for sure.
Veg Biryani: Biryani tastes good when it is cooked in layers of rice and vegetables and served in a handi. This is the best place to have some good veg biryani with raita and papad as the perfect blend of strong spices, veggies, and rice gives the biryani an amazing mix and perfect taste making it a must-have on the list.
Overall this is the best place to have veg north Indian food as you get amazing ambience, service, taste, and experience. This is a place I love to drop by again and again whenever I feel like having a good Punjabi food.
I would suggest trying it at least once and I'm sure you will love it for sure.
Well, I will be back with another post about any other place soon.

I’m sure many of you will be aware of it totally or heard about it for sure. The name is ‘Vithal Kamat’.
Well, I enjoy the food whenever I try out this place. Talking about the place, Vithal is something which can be found at most of the places; especially you will find it on highways.
Coming up to food no matter whatever you will try, you are going to love it for sure. The service is quick and cleanliness is also commendable. I can’t say about ambience as each place has a different structure and looks.
What I would recommend to must try are:
Mysore Masala Dosa: The crispy dosa with perfect Mysore masala served with chutney and sambhar, this dosa is one of my favorite and I enjoy it whenever I’m having it at Kamat.
Missal Pav: One of the most famous foods in Maharashtra, Missal Pav is a spicy semi-liquid dish served with pav. Missal is a mixture of sprouts, onions, tomatoes and a spicy liquid mixed to it. I personally love this dish. At Kamat, it is something one should try for sure. I so love it and it is worth trying.
Pav Bhaji: I don’t think I need to explain what pav bhaji is but if you want a good, yummy and spicy pav bhaji, you can try it here. All you need to do is when you are at Kamat just order pav bhaji and you will enjoy it for sure.
Cheese Garlic Naan: A perfect cheese garlic naan with Szechwan sauce makes it a perfect thing to try on.

Cream Stone (Bangalore , Pune)

Hello, Everyone!
Hope all are doing good and enjoying this weekend. As its weekend and you might be thinking of some place so here I’m back with my post of another place. Ok, this time, what I will be talking about is not a restaurant but a place for desserts.
Cream Stone, located at the various places in India, serves amazing desserts which are a mix of ice cream with various stuff and served perfectly.
Well, I have been to its two stores that are located in Bangalore and Pune. I was first introduced to this place by my sister who lives in Bangalore and I was in love with what they serve. If you are not aware of the store in Bangalore, then let me tell you that it is located at CMR Road in Kalyan Nagar. Coming to Pune, I found it in Seasons Mall while I was roaming around in the mall and later got to know that it is also located in Viman Nagar
What this place actually provides is their amazing style of serving a regular ice cream with a twist. No matter what you order from the menu, they will take a scoop or two on the ice stone and start beating it while mixing various stuff to it. From normal flavors to seasonal fruits to nuts no matter whatever you order the end result is always wonderful. Enjoy seeing them making it live in front of you while they beat everything super loudly giving a minor headache to you sometimes.
I personally enjoy:
Willy Wonka: What they mix with chocolate ice cream is lots of choco chips, chocolate pastry, dark chocolate fudge and chocolate stick and beaten to the core to mix well and served in a waffle cup with a stick. Perfect and amazing in taste this becomes a worth trying out for everyone.
Chocolate Over Dose: Ok what they did in this was mixing ice cream scoops with chocolate cake and topped with melting walnut brownie. This is actually a perfect overdose of chocolate and if you are a chocolate lover you will love it for sure.
Nuts Overloaded: Combination of caramel and butterscotch ice cream mixed with roasted almonds, cashews, and chocolate stick and beaten to the fullest. Worth trying for those who like nuts.
Fruit Exotica: Multi-flavored ice cream mixed with fruits and topped with fruits. Well, I personally enjoy when they have seasonal fruits in it especially mangoes.
Fruit Overloaded: I tried out this one and this was superb on trying. What they did was orange velvet cake was mixed with fruit cocktail ice cream and fruits and was superb and mouth watering. I actually liked it a lot.
No matter whatever you try, you will actually love it. So please please try out the place soon and if you are not located in Pune and Bangalore, then Google the other places it is located in India.
Overall this place serves every dessert superb. I would suggest to try it now and I'm sure you will love it for sure.
Well, I will be back with another post about any other place soon.

So, how I got to this place? Well, after shopping a lot in Colaba my friends decided to lets to this café. And as it was walking distance from where we were, we opted to walk 10 minutes to the café. Well, while looking at the maps you might get confuse with the lane and can get lost and so the same happened with us. We took a wrong lane and walked back till we got to the right one. So after walking more than 15 minutes or so, we were finally in front of the café which looked small in size and but really beautiful.
Kala Ghoda Café, the small board said and I had a smile on a face looking at a café from outside. As soon as we enter I could smell coffee all over, and we took our seats. The interiors were done really well and the staff was really friendly and helpful in choosing the menu.
So after looking a lot at the menu for long we finally ordered:
Espresso with an extra shot: A coffee perfectly brewed by forcing a small amount of boiling water with finely ground coffee beans. Well, my friend likes her espresso that way, so no comments on that. But yes it smelled so good.
Cappuccino with an extra shot: Made with espresso, hot milk, and milk foam, this coffee is very popular for everyone. And my friend liked it strong.
