The Basil Deck (Pune)

Hi everyone!
How are you all? Hope all well! The weekend is here and so is my new post for you all. So, today I will share with you one of my favourite places to have north Indian food and experience a peaceful dining experience. I’m talking about The Basil Deck which is located in ABC Farms, in KP, Pune.
The ambience is very attractive and soothing which can easily make you fall in love with it. The staff is friendly and helpful in selecting the menu.

Talking about the food, what all we always order?
Baby corn Tempura: The tempura battered deep fried baby corns, tossed with garlic and onion and mixed with balsamic vinegar, you can taste each and everything that I mentioned when it is served. It is also known as their must try.

Veg Tandoori Platter: Veggies like broccoli, potato, capsicum, paneer are marinated in perfect flavours of spiced and then cooked in charcoal and served with mint chutney. This platter is a must try here.
Dal Makhani: they call it Maa ki Daal here, cooked to the perfection that the dal is so perfectly cooked that you feel buttery taste and the melting lentils when eaten.

Subz Diwani Handi: A classic authentic royal vegetables cooked and served in a traditional Indian handi, this is one of my all-time favourites here because the flavours of authentic spices and the perfect blend of cream in little gravy are one of the best dishes here.
Four Cheese Penne: Penne tossed in a cheese sauce made with gorgonzola, mozzarella, parmesan and cheddar. The perfect taste of cheese loaded pasta is something you can die for.

Overall my experience here was superb and I would recommend everyone who has not been to this place yet to just try it out once and I’m sure you will love it. The food here is amazing, the ambience is perfect and the staff is helpful, just what you want for a perfect evening with family or a loved ones.

Box 8 (Mumbai & Pune)

Hi everyone!
How are you all? Hope all well! The weekend is here and so is my new post for you all. Today I will share my experience with one of the takeaways and home delivery store named Box 8 which is one of the places from where I love to order food. Located in many areas in Mumbai and Pune,  this takeaway place serves really amazing food in a unique way. The service is quick, the staff is helpful and the food is really nice.
Talking about the food, what all we love to order?
Spicy Paneer Meal: A box of meal with spicy paneer gravy along with dal makhani, rice/roti, salad, chutney and dessert. You can call it a mini thali. The perfect taste of spicy paneer gravy and dal makhani cooked to perfection is one of the best meals I like to order. As the option is between rice and paratha, I mostly opt for Rice, as I don’t like the paratha here.
Chole Tikki Meal: A box of meal with spicy chole gravy with tikki along with rice, salad, chutney and dessert. Same as spicy paneer, just one thing changes in the menu and that is chole. The chole that I get here.
Fusion Box
PC: Google Images
Dilli wale Rajma Chawal fusion box: A box layered with rice, rajma, garlic yoghurt, chutney and salad. All you have to do is just mix all and eat. I just love this idea of serving. The rajma is made to perfection, just like what my mom makes and the garlic yoghurt is just amazing.
Grilled Patty Sub: Delicious veg patty made in a subway style with their signature sauce and salad. This is the only sub which I love here.
Overall my experience here has always been amazing and satisfying. I would suggest everyone who has not yet ordered from here shall try it out once and I’m sure you will love it. The food here is amazing and the staff is helpful too.

Chocolate Mousse: Made to perfection the chocolate mousse here is to die for.
Red Velvet Pastry: If you love red velvet pastry then it’s a must try here. One of the best red velvet pastry I tried is here. Perfect in taste and texture.

Paneer Tikka Sandwich: one of my favourite sandwiches here which I sometimes convert into rolls as well. The right amount of spice and flavour along with the softness of paneer and the veggies is perfect.

Chilly cheese Toast: Loaded with cheese and chillies and little amount of capsicum the cheese chilly toast here is a worth trying.

Overall my experience here has always been amazing. The food here is amazing, and the staff is helpful too.

Pop Tate's (Mumbai)

Hi everyone!
How are you all? Hope all well! The weekend is here and so is my new post for you all. So, I visited this place a few weeks back for my friend’s party. Basically, it has branches in many places in Mumbai but I visited their Malad branch. I’m talking about Pop Tate’s.
The ambience is very attractive and funky and I couldn’t stop myself checking each and everything carefully. The music is catchy and you would just want to get up and dance. The staff was friendly and the service was impressive.
Talking about the food, what all we ordered?
Veg Bombastic: Mix veg balls deep fried and served in the bowl full of the liquid cheesy dish. This is a perfect blend of veggies and cheese and the taste is simply different. A must try because this is some I had for the first time.
Paneer Shashlik Sizzler: One of my favourite sizzlers, the shashlik sauce was made to the perfection and flavours were to the core perfect. Served with rice, onion, capsicum and French fries the sizzler was delicious.

Cross Country Pizza: Unlike a regular pizza this had diced veggies with a unique and different pizza sauce which gave a scrumptious taste to the pizza. It is said that the pizza sauce is chef’s special.

Arrabiata Pasta: The arrabbiata sauce in the pasta was spicy as I liked and was mixed with penne and black olives, this pasta was good in taste and texture. The sauce was perfectly cooked and I was happy that it wasn’t sour in taste.
Nachos & Beans: After my experience with Nachos at Quessco, I started liking it further. In fact I liked the nachos served here, covered with cheese sauce along with salsa and beans, this was something I enjoyed.

Sizzling Brownie: the Best ending to scrumptious dinner is a perfect dessert. What can be better than having a sizzling brownie with ice-cream? Well, I won’t say much about it as I find the taste of this dessert same almost everywhere.

Overall my experience here was superb and I would recommend everyone who has not been to this place yet to just try it out once and I’m sure you will love it. The food here is amazing, the music and the ambience is perfect and the staff is helpful, just what you want for a perfect evening with friends.

Quessco Ristorante (Mumbai)

Ciao! Hola! Swasdi! Everyone! You might be thinking what’s wrong with me. Relax its just a “Hello’ in Italian, Mexcian, and Thai Language, and the reason why I greeted you all like that is because of the restaurant I had recently tried.
Well, actually there is a story behind eating out at this place. I’m a total foodie, loves to explore new restaurants and food joints. So here I was sitting and doing nothing when my sister (cousin) asked me to accompany her to a play in Prithvi theatre. Listening to that the first thing came to my mind was Prithvi Café! As I wanted to visit Prithvi Café for so long just to try the food there, here was the chance and I was happily ready to grab it.
So after the nice time, we spend watching the play, my stomach started asking for its fuel. But for my bad, the café had a HUGE waiting line, so we searched on zomato and decided to check out this place.

“QUESSCO RISTORANTE” the name itself sounds a bit of Italian. Situated on the 2nd floor of Link Plaza Commercial Premises above Shreejee Veg near on the main road of Link Road in Oshiwara, the place serves Vegetarian food in Italian, Mexican and Thai. While entering the premises, you will think if the restaurant is good enough or not. But as soon as you step out of the lift you will say ‘wow’. The ambience is amazing and is soothing for you. They make you feel at home and relaxed that you will fall in love with the place automatically. I will recommend you to make prior reservations as that will be more convenient, though they also entertain if you just walk in, it’s better to make prior reservations.
The ambience is perfectly done and I must say, I felt super relaxed as soon as I step in. They also have outdoor dining available which can be a good experience during good weather. The staff here is really nice; as soon as we settled down we had the menu in hand and a staff member to attend.
So what we all ordered?
Cheese Corn Balls: The perfect taste of cheese and corns fried and served with a dip this is a good appetizer to start your meal with.
Cheese Garlic Bread: One of the most amazing things I like about garlic bread is that it should taste of garlic along with butter and a good amount of cheese loaded on it and here you get it exactly the way you want it to be.
Nachos El Classico: Honestly, I’m not that big fan of Nachos but what they serve here is to die for. One bite and I was totally in love with it. The crispy nachos covered with salsa and cream cheese and baked beans the taste was so good that I would love to come here again just to have this alone.

Rosso Pasta: Th scrumptious taste of red and white sauce mixed together and tossed with veggies and pasta, this is worth trying out here. The perfection with which they make it is to die for.

Death By Chocolate: As the name suggests, it is actually a death when you skip this. One of the best desserts they serve here is this and it is worth trying out.
Overall, the food was super yummy, I had a huge smile on my face with every first bite of everything I ate that night, and it was totally satisfying. I love to cook and as Sanjeev Kapoor says “You should eat twice, before actually eating the food, i.e., from eyes (presentation), from the nose (smell) and finally from the mouth (taste).” And I always follow that. So, each time when they served our order, I looked at the presentation first (which actually everyone does), and it was really nice. I liked the way they presented the dishes and taste, as I already mentioned, it was 10 on 10.
The service here is really quick, which is really very impressive. The staff is friendly and helps you in everything, from a confusion of what to order, to how they made this or that.
At the end of the main course, we were super full but still, we wanted to eat dessert and we didn’t regret that, as it was really very very delicious. In most of the restaurants, along with the bill comes mouth fresheners but here they serve cute small yummy chocolates, which was again impressive for me.
I heard that ‘Chimichangas’ is the best dish here, which I wasn’t aware of or else we would have definitely tried it too, but no issues that will be there in my mind and I will try it on my next visit. I really loved the restaurant and would like to visit here again soon and would love to recommend it to everyone.

So this is it…
Thanks for reading! I will be back soon with a new post. Right now I’m going to be busy with my exams, so till then, enjoy, keep reading and keep loving my work.
Sayonara!
Will be back with another post soon.
Till then take care…

Tea Villa Cafe (Mumbai)

Hi Everyone!
How are you all? Hope all fine. As promised, I’m back with the new post. Well, today I will be sharing my experience with you all about a place which is trending among Mumbaikars a lot. Everyone is visiting this place to at least try once and get an amazing experience.
Well, I am talking about Tea Villa Café, located in many locations in Mumbai, this café carries an amazing and unique ambience in all their outlets. Well, each outlet carries a different ambience than another one, and all are fantastically done.

Staff is helpful and friendly and the service is quick and nice. Also, the presentation of the food is really nice and eye catchy.
Talking about the food, what all we tried?

KitKat Milkshake: Chocolate milkshake ble3nd with KitKat and served chilled with KitKat this was a really yummy milkshake I tired. The slight change in the taste of chocolate milkshake and the crunchiness of KitKat gives the shake a uniqueness to it.

Assorted Potato basket: A basket mix of French fries, sweet potato fries and potato wedges served with dips this basket has a unique taste and the flavours are really nice.

Cheesy Spaghetti in White Sauce: Perfectly cooked spaghetti mixed with veggies and white sauce, the spaghetti was so delicious and the most amazing part was the flavours that it had were just perfect.

Mac and Cheese Pizza: Have you ever thought of combining your two favourites and turning it into one. Well, this is what I got when I saw on the menu. A perfectly cooked mac and cheese baked on the pizza with four different cheese, this was the most scrumptious pizza I had.

Chocolate overloaded Waffle: If you are a waffle lover then you should try the chocolate overloaded waffle that is served here. The crispiness of the waffle and the mix of dark and milk chocolate gives the waffle an amazing taste and the aroma of freshly baked waffle and chocolate is worth a wait.

Overall my experience here was superb and I’m looking for a chance to drop in here again as soon as possible to try out other things given in the menu. I will really recommend all of you who haven’t tried out this place or have kept it bookmarked, please do try it.
All suggestions are welcome. You can also suggest what shall I try here when I visit next? Just put your words in the comment box below and it will be of great help.

Fingers Cross (Mumbai)

Hi Everyone!
How are you all? Hope all well. So, those who are the regular readers of my blog might be aware that I am a huge fan of sizzlers. So, today I will be sharing my experience with a place where I visited recently and got a chance to satisfy my taste buds with scrumptious sizzlers.
Well, I am talking about Fingers Cross which is located near the infinti mall, Andheri, Mumbai. The ambience is nicely done, with cozy seating options and some catching wall paintings. Lights were soothing exactly the way you would like to have in a restaurant and the music was amazing and refreshing. I really wanted to get up and dance to the music that was playing there.
Staff was friendly and helpful enough to suggest what is best to try out and how exactly that particular cuisine is made and what all does it contain.  However, the service is quite slow even when the restaurant wasn’t much crowded.
Talking about the food, what all we tried?

Cheese Corn Balls: The perfect blend of cheese and corn and black pepper powder, rolled over bread crumbs and deep fried and served with mayo dip. This was a perfect start for the yummy dinner.

Cheese Garlic Bread: One of my all-time favourites, this was so cheesy and the perfect taste of garlic. This was really yummy and different from what you regularly get.

Mashed Potato: The cheesy and creamy taste that you get in mashed potatoes are to die for, and here they serve the best mashed potatoes I have tried till date.

Shashlik Paneer Sizzler: One of my favourites in sizzlers, this was perfectly made. The shashlik sauce was just perfect and the best part was the veggies very cooked exactly the way I like partially cooked so that the crunchiness remains.

Cheese Spaghetti Sizzler: Honestly, for me, sizzlers are to die for. Also, I’m a spaghetti lover as well, and so when we ordered this one, oh god, it was the best decision we made. Perfectly cooked spaghetti, plated with veggies and mixed with white sauce and loaded with cheese. This sizzler was heaven for me, the most scrumptious one and worth trying.

Red Thai Curry Sizzler: I love red Thai curry and steam rice and when one of my friends suggested that we should order this one as well, I was in little doubt about how will this one be. So, we got a piping hot sizzler loaded with veggies and steam rice and potato wedges covered in red Thai curry. The sizzler was nice. However, I have tried better Thai curries than what I got here.

Overall, the place is really nice for scrumptious sizzlers and good music. I would suggest that you must - must try sizzlers here at least once. The service is nice and so is the food.
If you have any suggestions for me then please do let me know by dropping a comment below and also if you liked the post then please do like, comment and share and also subscribe to my blog.

Udta Punjab (Mumbai)

Hi Everyone!
As promised, I am back with the new post about the new place. As the title says it all, this place is called Udta Punjab and is a takeaway and home delivery place in Goregaon, Mumbai. Well, I don’t know if this name was kept after the movie or before that. I first got to know about this place when I was travelling towards Andheri and saw this place.
And as Google provides answers to all of your questions, I googled the place and bingo I got the details on Zomato. Firstly, the menu is limited yet made in a very exciting way. Everything in the menu starts with Udta. Well, as the name suggests, their menu contains all Punjabi food. Speaking about the service, the delivery service is normal what you will get in every place (minimum 30 mins) and if you are eating there itself parking your vehicle and standing as seating isn’t available then too the serving time is same.
Talking about the food, what is a must try?
Dal Makhani: If you like dal makhani and dying to try a really good one in Mumbai then I will suggest trying here once. The authentic taste of dal makhani that you get in Punjab is what you will get here. The scrumptious taste and the perfectly cooked dal with the right amount of spices this place serves the best dal makhani in town.
Subz Diwani Kadhai: Veggies mixed in the yellow gravy cooked in the kadhai till it is ready to get served on the plates, this dish carries all the flavours that go in veg kadhai perfectly.
Butter Garlic Naan: Order naan from anywhere else and by the time you get it and you sit to eat it turns all rubbery. But here, even delivering after 30 -40 mins the naans are hot and in perfect condition.
Rajma Masala: One of my favourite dish of all time. Give me Rajma Chawal and I’m sorted. Rajma Masala here has that perfect taste of what my mom cooks for me. The thickness of the gravy is perfect, with well-cooked Rajma and the scrumptious taste of the dish is just amazing.
Subz Dum Biryani: Briyani is always best when served hot and is made in an authentic way using dum to it. Here you will get that exact flavours and delicious taste of the biryani. Veggies and rice are perfectly cooked and the aroma is just another level.
Malai Phirni: I’m not a sweet lover but malai Phirni here is what I can say a must try. The absolute taste of phirni what you might get in the households of Punjab is brought here for you. The right amount of sweetness gives the dish a perfect taste.
Overall this place is best for filling your craving for Punjabi food as you will get the authentic Punjabi taste here. I loved each and everything I tried till date.
If you haven’t tried it yet then do drop in here for a takeaway or just order.
If you like this post then do like, comment and share.
I will see you all next week with another post.
Till then take care.

Chung Wah (Bangalore)

Hi Everyone!
I am back with the new post. Well, this time I am going to talk about a place I love to visit whenever I’m in Bangalore. Well, this particular post is a throwback for me as I was thinking about the place today and luckily got the pictures saved on the laptop as well. So thought to share my first experience there.
So this place is known as Chung Wah and it is located in Kalyan Nagar in Bangalore. If you are new in Bangalore then use Google maps to reach here and if you have been to this place, then you know how it is. The entrance of this place looks as if you are entering a bungalow, however, once you get in you feel as if you are somewhere in China.
The ambience is nicely done with dim lights, seating areas divided by thin wood carved dividers which are carved with some Chinese writings. The fragrance there is really different and unique and not of a food, which most of the Chinese restaurants carry. The staff there was really helpful and the service was quick and appreciable.
Talking about food, what all we ordered?
Manchow Soup: One of my favourites in soup, I have tried it almost everywhere. But what we got here was on the level of perfection. The thickness, taste, essence and flavours were up to the mark and the soup was perfectly made.
Mix Veg Dumplings: You can call it momos but the sheets used here are thinner than what we get in momos. Cooked to the right level, these dumplings were served with their two special sauce which complimented the dish perfectly.
Schezwan Noodles: The noodles served here were thinner than the regular size but weren’t the glass noodles. The little spicy taste of schezwan perfectly mixed with veggies and noodles gave the scrumptious taste to the dish.
Veg Fried Rice: Perfectly cooked rice tossed with veggies and little amount of flavours gave this dish a really nice taste. However, the taste wasn’t spicy at all which made me avoid the rice a little.
Veg Dumplings in Manchurian Gravy: This is a must-have for all the Chinese food, whether it is noodles or rice. We have to have to order it along. The Manchurian Gravy was perfectly made. I fell in love with this for the perfect taste and flavours and the way it is cooked.
Overall, my experience over there is always a bliss. I can say chefs at Chung Wah are brilliant at their work. I would recommend this place to everyone and would like to read about your experience as well.
Do share your experience in the comment box below. Also, do let me know how I can improve my blogs further.
Any sort of suggestions is always welcome.

The Yoga House (Mumbai)

Hi, everyone!
How are you all?  Hope all good! Here I am with you again, back with another post about my experience with a place which is located in Bandra. I’m talking about The Yoga House
Well, the café is located in a lane and takes time to find it. The ambience is really beautiful and I loved it. Service is also nice and the staff is really helpful as well.
Talking about food, well what we ordered?
Ten Grain Bread & Paneer Bhurji: Paneer Bhurji is one of my favourite dish and as zomato suggests this is the must-try over here. But I honestly didn’t like it. It was too blunt in taste that really didn’t like it much.
Signature Hash Brown: grilled with mozzarella, red and green peppers, Spinach and herbs, served with yoghurt and mustard dressing, this was perfect in taste and was really scrumptious. I thoroughly enjoyed having this.
The Traveler’s Plate: 4 mini tartines of Mykonos (a mix of feta cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, onions basil and olive oil toasted on a multigrain bread slice), Capri (mix of grilled mozzarella, black olives, cherry tomatoes, basil, and pepper toasted on a garlic bread) and Somerset (mix of melting cheddar, zucchini, Dijon mustard, tomatoes and onions toasted on multigrain bread) served with green salad. This was really yummy in taste. I loved the Capri Tartines out of all four ones.
Cappuccino: A regular cappuccino served with jaggery instead of sugar. This was a shock for my sister coz she ended up putting all jaggery in the coffee to taste it sweet. The result of being in healthy place.
Pineapple Juice: Pulpy juice with no sugar, making it taste little sour and sweet.
Overall my experience here was good. The ambience and service are really nice but the food is ok. I would suggest don’t travel all the way to Bandra just for trying this place. But if you want to relax and sit for long, talking to a friend or working or reading books along with eating something then do try out this place and you will like it.
Please do like, comment and share if you like the post.
I will be back with another post.

Melting Morsels (Mumbai)

Hi, Everyone!
Today, I am talking about a place with is small in size but has some really amazing taste to indulge in. I recently visited this place named Melting Morsels in Pall Hill Bandra and had some really nice experience. The ambience was really nice and the staff was friendly as well.
What did we order?

Paneer Paprika Sauce with Herbed Rice: This one was from their meals in a mug options. Food portion in a mug is something trending nowadays and they have one whole section of meals in a mug in their menu. Well, this tasted really nice. The rice was perfectly cooked and the sauce was perfect in spices. The best part was the portion was sufficient for one.
Cheesy Nachos: The perfect blend of nachos and cheese, here you will find it really yummy and worth trying.
Cheese Corn Balls: Cheese corn balls are something everyone will like for sure and here the cheese corn balls were so cheesy and crispy that I could have more of this.
Choco Lava: The perfectly cooked lava cupcake, this is something one shall try for sure.

Red Velvet: I really love red velvet cakes and pastries and here the red velvet parties are just perfect. Melts in the mouth and perfect in taste this is worth having.
Rich Chocolate Fantasy: Being a chocolate lover I found it a really yummy and the best part that it was loaded with chocolate and was perfect for any chocolate lover.
Tiramisu: My first attempt with tiramisu and I felt it was good. Though I don’t really enjoy the combination of bittersweet in pastries and wasn’t aware that this will give me the same, but still, I enjoyed it.
Overall, my experience here was really nice and I would like to drop in here again sometime. Well, I will recommend you all should try it out as well.
