Good News Dhaba (Pune)

Hi everyone!
How are you all? Hope all well! The weekend is here and so is my new post for you all. Sorry I couldn’t write last weekend as I wasn’t available as I was busy in attending guests and planning for a party for my niece who turned one year old this Monday. So today, I am going to share my experience with a restaurant which I visited this Monday to celebrate my niece’s birthday.
So we all went to the restaurant name Good News Dhaba located in Yerwada, Pune. Soft music and superb catchy ambience is the first thing anyone would notice. Made in a way of dhaba, along with the quotes that you generally find behind the trucks; this place is unique in its own way. Lights put up with either wok or glass bottles along with the wooden khatiyas (that you find in actual dhabas) hanging from the ceiling.

Overall the ambience is perfectly amazing. The service is really quick and the staff is really very helpful. Good in the budget this place has its own charm in the mall. They do serve Jain food as well, I got to know this because my mother had a fast on Monday because of the Sawaan season and she decided to have Jain food as she was fasting and wasn’t supposed to eat onion and garlic. But the jain food which was served to her was as scrumptious as the rest of the food.
Talking about the food, what we ordered?
Paneer Tikka: Soft Paneer along with tomatoes, onion and capsicum marinated in the tikka and curd paste and roasted in tandoor to the perfection these tikkas are perfectly cooked for the scrumptious taste of the marination and the tikkas covered in it.
Paneer De Sholey: A mix of paneer and other veggies mixed with spices and stuffed in bread and deep fried, this dish is simple yet unique in its own way. They taste of this starter was more relative to bread roll, just that the mixture had paneer stuffing rather than potatoes in it.
Jeera Alu: The simple recipe yet the perfect one for someone like me who loves potato. Perfect in spices this is the exactly simplest yet something I love to order when I can.
Shahi Paneer (Jain): White gravy made up of dry fruits and cream little sweet in taste and mixed with soft paneer cubes this tasted as good and delicious as the rest of the food we ordered.
Paneer Lababdar: Mix of the veggies and paneer in the yellow gravy this is something I loved thoroughly as the spices were so perfect and the taste was heavenly. The right amount of all the spices and the creamy texture of the gravy gives it the perfect punch of flavours.
Dal Tadka: As simple as it looks I would say as a Punjabi restaurant dhaba this should have its perfection which you get in Punjab and so I must say that the dal tadka was as perfect as I could get it in Punjab.
Sarson Da Saag & Makke Di Roti: This was the special demand of my jiju (brother-in-law) and so we ordered it and every bit of it was worth the order. The sarson da saag was made to the perfection and the scrumptious flavours of it made me feel as if I was transferred to Punjab for the perfect taste of it. The rotis were perfectly tandoor cooked and were still somewhere in between soft and crispy the exact way I like my rotis.
Malai Kulfi: Have you tasted malai kulfi which once a bicycle guy used to sell on the pan leaf? That kulfi used to taste heavenly and had amazing taste. Perfect in sweet and perfect in milky creamy texture. The kulfi here was as tasty as that kulfi I used to get on the pan leaf when I was a kid.
Overall my experience here was simply amazing and the food served here is so so scrumptious and perfectly delightful. The flavours of the food here are rich in taste and are really worth having a meal here. I would recommend everyone who has not been to this place yet to just try it out once and I’m sure you will love it. If you like good music along with good ambience and good food then visit here.

Chor Bizarre (Lavasa)

Hi everyone!
How are you all? Hope all well! The weekend is here and so is my new post for you all. So, today I will share with you my experience with a place where I went recently. So, for a weekend gateway, my family decided to visit Lavasa for a day. We were super hungry when we reached there and wanted to eat north Indian cuisine. So we went to this place known as Chor Bizarre in Lavasa.
The ambience was beautiful, catchy and very attractive, soft music was playing in the background, everything about the place was unique in its own way. Each and everything was different, I mean not a single table and chair matched with each other; even the cutleries that were placed on the table were different from each other. The service was quick and the staff was very helpful with everything. As we had a small baby with us, they took personal care of her comfort as well.

Talking about the food, what we ordered?
Daal Chor B’Zar: Authentic dal makhani that they serve here by the name of Dal Chor B’Zar is worth trying. They say that it is cooked in tandoor overnight, if that is true it is 1000% worth having. The aromatic and rich flavour of the dal and the perfection with which it is made is just amazing.
Kadhai Paneer: Paneer and veggies cooked in rich tomato gravy tempered with coriander seeds and red chillies, this had an amazing buttery taste with soft panner and rich flavours.
Subz Jalfrezi: Fresh veggies with a mix of sliced tomatoes and onions with their secret spices and a hint of yellow gravy this is one of the best-mixed veg subzi I have had recently.
Assorted Bread Basket: A basket mix of butter naan, butter roti, rumali roti, missi roti and stuffed kulcha, this is the best thing to order for trying everything in their bread menu. The Naan they served were the best according to me. The softest and buttery naan I had recently.

Overall my experience here was simply amazing and the north Indian food served here is one of the best north Indian foods I have had recently. The flavours of the food here is so rich and so so good that I would love to come back to Lavasa just to eat here.
I would recommend everyone who has not been to this place yet to just try it out once and I’m sure you will love it. This place is perfect for north Indian food when you are busy roaming in Lavasa.

Chai La (Pune)

Hi everyone!
How are you all? Hope all well! The weekend is here and so is my new post for you all. So, today I will share with you my experience with a place which provides Chai in style. Well, I am talking about Chai La located in Kharadi, Pune.

This little joint is famous for the chai they serve. The ambience is quite ok and nothing fancy mostly crowded this place does serves snacks but the main attraction is their chai. Heard a lot about it I happened to visit here last week with my family. It was damn crowded and I realized that this is just famous for the chai they serve. So I went to the place where the whole making process was going on and noticed that they were serving tandoori chai.

We placed our order and the chai got served in kulhaad. The taste is exactly what you get at tapris but the main attraction was the making process. They claim that they invented the tandoori chai which I can’t comment on. But all I can say is that it is worth a try. The best and worthy part is to see the making process of it.

Overall my experience here was good and I would recommend everyone who has not been to this place yet to just try it out once and I’m sure you will love it. If you are not a tea lover then you can get coffee as well in the same process and I will suggest to better see the process live to enjoy it further.

How are you all? Hope all well! The weekend is here and so is my new post for you all. So, today I will share with you my experience with a place where I love to go whenever I crave for waffles. Well, I am talking about The Belgian Waffles Co. in Mumbai.
The place is small with a little sitting area and the fragrance full of freshly made waffles. The best part is that if you can’t finish the piece of four waffles then visit here as they provide the single piece of waffle.
Talking about the food, what we ordered?
Naked Nutella: stuffed with Nutella this waffle is everything a Nutella fan would like to have and topping it with banana give it a different taste altogether.
Chocolate Overloaded: This is my personal favourite as it is loaded with chocolate in every way possible and I just simply love it.
Icecream Waffwich: Chocolate ice cream stuffed between the waffle making it a sandwich, this is something I can die for.
Overall my experience here was too sweet and I would recommend everyone who has not been to this place yet to just try it out once and I’m sure you will love it.

Shreeji's - The Fusion Kitchen (Mumbai)

Hi everyone!
How are you all? Hope all well! The weekend is here and so is my new post for you all. So, today I will share with you my experience with a place which creates the fusion of Indian chaat and Italian food. Yes you heard me right and trust me it tastes out of the world. I am talking about Shreeji’s The Fusion Kitchen located at Borivali, Mumbai.
This is a small pull cart stall near chamunda circle road but the fusion food served here is worth trying atleast once.
Talking about the food, what we ordered?
Pizza Punch: Pani puri’s puri is filled with pizza sauce, veggies and loads of cheese and herbs this takes super yummy. I was on cloud nine after having this really delicious version of chaat and pizza.
Extravaganza: Sevpuri with a twist I shall say. It is topped with veggies, sauces, spices, panner, cheese, mayonnaise and herbs. One of the most guilt feeling you get when you have this if you are on diet. Coz this is the tastiest thing I have ever had. Loaded with calories yet so tempting that you can resist.
Panini: Another twisted version of sevpuri is this. Here you get veggies which are marinated in a secret sauce which the chef didn’t like to share, added with paneer, double cheese, mayonnaise and herbs. This is just the best version of Panini I have had in so long.
Overall my experience here was mind-blowing and I would recommend everyone who has not been to this place yet to just try it out once and I’m sure you will love it.
