Yoko Sizzlers (Mumbai)

How are you all? Hope all are good and doing well? So I’m back with a post and as the title suggests it’s about sizzlers. So, some of you might know from my previous posts that I love sizzlers a lot and so recently, I along with my friends went to Yoko Sizzlers for grabbing some amazing sizzlers served by them. Well, Yoko has many outlets across the country but here I’m talking about the one located in Bandra, Mumbai.

The ambience is nicely done, gives a little bit of a Chinese look but still, it's cozy but a little covered with the smoke of the sizzlers which is present on each and every table. The staff here is friendly and helps in choosing a right menu according to our tastes. 

So what one must try?

Yoko’s Special Veg Sizzler: A mix of rice, boiled veggies, fries, cutlet and their secret sauce served on the hot sizzler plate along with cheese, is one of the signature dishes they serve. The sauce gives the unique taste and flavours and the little spiciness makes the whole dish perfect. The cutlet is perfect and the mix of rice and fries is a great combination.

Paneer Shashlik Sizzler: One of my favourite here, the mix of boiled veggies with fries and rice tossed with onion, capsicum and paneer with garlic sauce, the taste of this sizzler is mind-blowing. I don’t like the pineapple slice on the top of the sizzler as that is sweet in taste and I love my sizzler spicy. The aroma and flavours of this sizzler is worth having.

Spaghetti and Cheese Sizzler:  Spaghetti mixed with cheese served along with veggies and cheese, this is an Italian Sizzler with the yummy cheesy taste of spaghetti with veggies and sauce which goes well along with the spaghetti.

Veg Cheese Roll:  If you love rolls and want to try it here, the veg cheese roll is good here. Veggies tossed in spices and cheese, served as a roll is good, but I think roadsides are better to try on too. 

Chocolate Brownie Sizzler: One of the best dessert created by someone. The combination of hot and cold is fantastic. On the hot plate is served chocolate brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and poured chocolate sauce for the sizzle. This is one of the yummiest desserts I live to have, and it tastes good here too.

Overall, the place is really amazing. It specializes in sizzlers, so I didn’t like anything else here, though but it’s everyone’s personal choice. The best thing about this place is they provide 2 options for sizzlers – Regular and Mini. So a regular sizzler is huge and can be eaten by 2-3 people while Mini is a small version of the same sizzler which can be easily eaten by 1 person or 2 in case you have a very small appetite.

In my personal experience, I love this place a lot, it it’s a little high on the pocket, but still, the food here is really nice. So if you haven't tried it yet then go and try and I will see you all later.

Ice Creams (Mumbai)

How are you all? Hope all good and happy? Well, sorry for not being around for past few weeks as I wasn’t keeping well. But now I’m back and after a huge confusion on what shall I talk about, I decided to soothe you all in this heat by telling about some amazing places for amazing ice-creams.
Well, ice-creams are one of the most loved desserts by all age people and no one says no for an ice-cream. Talking about places, where you can try some amazing ice-creams are:

K.Rustom: This place is located near Churchgate and is known for the unique flavour and taste they serve in their ice creams. They serve the sandwich ice-creams and pista flavour is one of the best serves there. The small slab of ice-cream served between the flat wafers is the best thing to have here.

Hokey Pokey: Well this is one of my favorite ice-creams because here you will get it in a unique way. Their death by chocolate is my all time favorite. Located in Malad and Jogeshwari, this place creates a different icecream by mixing and beating icecreams and other sutffs. A worth trying out place.

Havmor: An ice-cream parlour located at every area in Mumbai, this place serves some amazing ice-creams, shakes and sundaes. Known for its rich taste in ice-creams, this place serves some really amazing ice creams and shakes. I personally love shakes and sundaes here and they are worth trying out.

Where is my cone: Located in 3 places in Mumbai, I love this place for its yummy concept of serving ice-cream in between cookies. The name itself shares that you won’t find cone here but some really amazing ice-creams and cookies combine together for some great combination and perfect taste.

Baskin Robbins: Well, damn sure that many people are well aware of this ice-cream parlour as it is easily found everywhere in Mumbai, this place serves some amazing ice-creams and huge variety in chocolate flavour. I personally love Mississippi mud here and also the chocolate sundae here is best here.

Ice Cream Works: Located in various places in Mumbai, this place is known for its sundaes, cassata and different Indianised flavours of ice creams. Best served here is the mind brownie fudge, Calcutta meetha paan, Madagascar chocolate to name some.

Icekreamskee: Located in Juhu, this place serves pre-order home delivered ice-creams. One of the best thing about this place is that it also serves the best seasonal fruit ice-creams, I have tried in long. The best seasonal ice-cream here is chilli guava. Though, no matter which one you order, you will love it for sure. My all-time favourite here is kesar pista and cookies and cream.

Dairy Don: This place is famous for its unique combinations in ice-cream and served between the wafers.  The taste is really nice and my all-time favourite is rose and paan mix. As I said the combination is really unique, and so does the taste.

I guess the cone and cup are vanishing from the scene now and mostly, I’m finding the places which are serving ice-creams as ice-cream sandwiches. Overall, all the places mentioned above serves some really amazing ice-creams which are worth having.
I will recommend to try all the places and know by yourself.

Quench (Mumbai)

Hi, Everyone!

Sorry for the delay in the post! How are you all and how everything is going on! Well, the weekend is here and I have a good a place to share with you all. So if you like good food (of course everyone does), but I mean along with funky ambience and peppy music then this place might be a good option for you.

Well, I’m talking about ‘Quench All day Pub’ located at Juhu, Mumbai. Well, I recently happen to visit this place after keeping it bookmarked in my list for so long. The ambience was really funky and interesting. The music was loud and peppy but the songs were something which was not of my taste, so I didn’t enjoy it much.

The service was really nice and quick and the staff was really friendly and helpful.

Coming up to food what we ordered:

Cheese Chilli Toast: Honestly, this was the perfect cheese chilli toast, I have tasted in a long time. Coz whenever I have ordered it in Mumbai, they have served me a mix of capsicum along with cheese and one green chilli, stuffed between bread and grilled. But here I get the original cheese chilli toast, which too had capsicum in it but still it had onion and green chillies and wasnt stuffed between breads and it tasted exactly the way it is originally made. Perfect in taste and spice and cheese. I thoroughly loved it.

Jalapenos Cheese Poppers: Too much off cheese right! First cheese chilli toast and then this. Well, again I would say it was really yummy and worth ordering as I really loved it. The perfect mix of cheese and jalapenos and bread crumbs and perfectly fried and served with a mint dip. Well trust me this had really amazing taste and I enjoyed having it too.

Veg Tex-Mex Sizzler: A mix of exotic veggies in tex-mex sauce with parsley rice and semi-boiled veggies and French fries along with a tex-mex sauce in a bowl. This was a perfect sizzler for me as it had perfect flavours and all the spices and yummy taste, that you could have it again and again.

Overall the experience was really amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed being to this place and loved the food. If you have not been to this place I will suggest to try it out once for sure as I know you will love it for sure.

The English Department (Mumbai)

How are you all? Hope all good and perfect!
Sorry for being unavailable for past two weeks but now I’m back and today I will be sharing with you all a place which I went last week and fell in love with. I’m talking about ‘The English Department Bar & Diner’ in Bandra, Mumbai.

Being super hungry and looking a place to chill and hangout, I along with my friends drop into this place. The ambiance was beautifully and was perfectly made. The staff was dressed in old school English way and were co-coordinating the name and the theme. The music was peppy and catchy and then somehow it changed to all old Hindi peppy songs and my group had lots of fun dancing and singing those songs aloud.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the service was quick and good too.
Talking about the food what all we ordered?
Mojito: White rum, mint and lime mixed together and served chilled. Well, this was the classic mojito and my friend who ordered it loved it thoroughly.

Provincial Pizza: Thin crust pizza made with perfection with sundried tomato pesto with roasted peppers, jalapenos, black olives, mozzarella and feta added to it. Served with a chilli and garlic sauce making the pizza a worth having. This was the perfect pizza and was worth trying.

Pink sauce Risotto with blue cheese and Exotics: One of the best and perfect risotto I tried after so long. Perfectly cooked risotto rice mixed with blue cheese and all the exotic veggies made the risotto worth of taste. The flavours were perfect the dish was superb.

Cottage cheese steak sizzler:  I love paneer and I love sizzler and when any place has this option I love to order it. So we order this sizzler and it was also one of the yummiest sizzlers I had since long. Rice, veggies, French fries, paneer steaks and spicy sauce gave the whole sizzler a perfect taste.
Overall the food here was really yummy and was worth having. The place is really amazing and is best one I shall say as I’m in love with this place. The bill to comes in a unique way which is really amazing.

I would love to visit this place again for sure and would suggest you all try too if you have not yet been to this place. It’s a pub restaurant where you can eat, drink, dance repeat.

Bachelorr's (Mumbai)

Hi, Everyone!
How are you all? Hope all are doing well and everything is going really well. So last week I was busy with work and didn’t get the chance to work on the post. But as I’m back on track now, it took a lot of time for me to decide on which place I shall write about. As I’m not regular with my post nowadays and there are so many places on my list to write about. So I picked one from the list and here I’m sharing with you all about it. Well, many of you might be aware of the place as it is the famous place in Mumbai. Located near Charni Road Station, Bachelorr’s is one of the most famous food joints in Mumbai.

This shops opens around 3-4pm and closes around 2-3am. No sitting options available they serve you directly where you are standing. Mostly you will find a long line of parked cars which are mostly for Bachelorr’s. Service is quite slow, no offence because the crowd for this place is huge and people serving are less so you can’t help it. Though the staff is friendly and helpful.
Coming up to food what all you can try which is best served and my all-time favourite
Chocolate Milk Shake: A chilled thick chocolate milkshake mixed with grated chocolate on top this is the tastiest milkshake I have tried in Mumbai.

Chocolate Banana Smoothie: If you like smoothies then you should try out this one for sure. Banana and chocolate mixed to the perfection making a smoothie a perfect taste.
Bachelorr’s fully loaded Pizza: This is one of the heaviest pizza as it has loads and lots of veggies along with cheese and is the yummiest pizza among their pizza lists. The best thing about this pizza is that the crispy base along with spiced sauce topped with loads of veggies and the cheese it makes it the perfect treat.
Paneer Tikka Grilled Sandwich: If you love paneer tikka and grilled sandwiches and have never thought of this mixing together, then do try it out here. The perfect taste of paneer tikka masala filled between bread and grilled and served with their signature chutneys this is a worth trying out the sandwich.

Paprika Sauce Pasta: I love pasta and never skips a chance to try it where ever I can get a chance to try. Paprika pasta is a medium spicy pasta made in red sauce tossed with some exotic veggies this pasta is an Indianised version of pasta and still it is perfecto.

Veg Cheese Burger: A normal veg cheese burger with the McCain Alu Tikki I guess, but the sauces and lots of veggies make the burger here better than the McD’s burgers as here you find the burger filling with the veggies.
Manchurian Wrapsule: Manchurian Warp here is really scrumptious and the taste is perfect. The Veggies, sauces and the Manchurian filled in the wrap sheet and cooked to the right amount and served hot this is filled with flavours and is worth trying.

Overall the food is really amazing and I just love this place, though it is slightly over-rated in terms of roadside food joint, but still it is worth the try. The food is superb and I thoroughly love this place.

Peking Tom (Mumbai)

How are you all and things are going on? I hope all are doing well. So I’m back with my new post and it’s a Chinese restaurant I got a chance to try out recently. Situated at Ever-shine Nagar, Malad West, this place is called Peking Tom!

The ambiance is soothing and the paintings and designs are made exactly the way you will find at a Chinese restaurant. The staff here is friendly and helpful and the service is really nice and quick. Coming up to the food, what we ordered?
Mixed Vegetable Dimsum: Vegetable momos to be more specific, these were really nice in taste and were perfectly cooked, these dim sums were a right choice for the starters and the schezwan sauce served along was worth the taste.

Malaysian Flat Noodles: Flat noodles cooked to perfection, mixed with vegetables and cooked in medium spicy flavours this cuisine tastes really delicious and goes well with the sauce we ordered along. The crunchiness of the veggies and the brilliant taste of the spiced noodles make the cuisine a perfect recipe.

Exotic Vegetable in Brown Sauce: Well we ordered this along with our flat noodles and both complimented each other just perfectly. The exotic veggies (broccoli, peppers, zucchini etc) tossed in the brown sauce which is medium spicy and tastes perfect with any noodles/rice this cuisine was worth of the million wait. The taste blends perfectly with the flat noodles giving us the perfect taste of our meal.

Sizzling brownie with ice-cream: Who doesn’t love this combination in dessert? Well, my favourite dessert of all time. Sizzling brownie with ice-cream was a perfect dessert to end our meal and the best thing to have on.

Overall, my experience here was worth going and I loved the place thoroughly and would love to visit here again for sure. If you haven’t yet tried this place yet, then please do try!

Breadkraft (Mumbai)

Hi, Everyone!
How are you all? Hope all well? I’m back with another lip-smacking post for you all and I’m sure who all have not yet tried out this place will definitely drop down to this place for sure! Holla, hold on! I’m talking about a small and old bakery shop situated in the busy Lokhandwala market in Mumbai. Very well known as Breadkraft! 

This is a very famous place for all its bakery products and hot snacks. If I talk about the service it is very quick and hygienic and the ambience is a common bakery shop, nothing wow in it. Talking about the food, everything tastes really amazing and are worth trying out.
What to try?
Jeera Khari: I usually call khari a puff biscuit and for me, it is a cherry on the cake if I have it with my coffee. Here, jeera khari is made to perfection with all crisp layers in it with perfect taste and crispiness.
Eggless Chocolate Cake: Cupcakes which are made to perfection without any use of egg and are really spongy and tasty.
Veg Tandoori Pizza: A regular size pizza mixed with tandoori sauce and regular veggies topped up with lots of cheese and baked to perfection, this 4 piece pizza gives you a different taste which you won’t be able to find in high pizza stores.

Paneer Chilly Roll: Spicy sauce mixed into veggies and paneer stuffed into hot dog bread along with few sauces and heated for some time and then served hot this is something I thoroughly loved and surely order whenever I drop in here.

Veg Puff: A mix of veggies and spices filled in a puff and baked it, this veg puff is worth trying for its tasty mixture of veggies and crispy layers of puff.
Veg Cheese Frankie: Veggies mixed with spices and layered on the chapatti and added with cheese and other sauces and cooked for some time and served hot, this is a worth trying out for all those who love Frankie.

Veg Manchurian Frankie: This is my favourite, chapatti rolled in with veggies and Manchurian and sauces this gives a perfect taste of the food and is worth trying for its perfect taste.
Chocolate Mousse: One of the yummiest chocolate mousse I found here! Here it is made to the perfection and is worth trying!
Overall, my experience here has always been amazing and I love to drop in here anytime when I’m in Lokhandwala or nearby.
